Warnings were issued by major credit card companies as immediate fraud was being committed on those stupid enough to give their credit/debit card to taxi drivers as form of payments. Times are getting tough supposedly for the immigrant taxi drivers whose bullshit claim of earning 4.25 an hour for driving 18 hour shifts in the cities.
More and more people who actually work downtown and used these services in the past are getting fed up and this credit card fraud mail be the final nail in the coffin for this industry of smugglers. The taxi industry is nothing like the charming drivers that were portrayed in the television program taxi in the seventies. All the drivers in major urban centers are made up of immigrants whose disdain for native customers is felt through their protective glass shields. It should come to no surprise that these drivers that been pushing for a major fare hike under the auspiciously claim of low wages for their low skill job that we are starting to see these credit fraud crimes. Many people who have used taxis to make a payment have seen hundreds of unauthorized uses of their card and are having a hard time erasing these new debts. This is an industry of outsiders who do not assimilate and have dominated this once good middle class blue collar job with their greed and corruption. The flooding of this industry with foreigners is only the beginning the free-market folks and foolish foreigners want to do to bring the cost of labor down all over the United States and now they want to steal your credit and identity. This monopolistic industry and its swarthy drivers need to be crushed and newer forms of rider share alternatives need to quickly be established and encouraged by local governments.
