It comes in gold packaging with a design actually printed onto the front of the palette. This makes a nice change to the usual black Makeup Revolution packaging.
The great thing about this palette is not only the varied color choice, but also the mix of different finishes. Some colors are matte, some shimmery while others have this sort of baked effect to them. For someone who loves dramatic colors, this palette will be right up their street. I love really dark eyeshadows, so I really was spoilt for choice here.
I blended different colors to create different looks. There was a good amount of pigment in them and they seemed to build up nicely and didn't crease. I didn't really use any of the paler colors as i'm not really a natural makeup person. I did really like the shimmery white as it made a good highlighter and base color.
This palette also comes with a brush applicator. It's not one of those sponge tipped ones, but still not good enough to be an actual brush. I prefer to use my makeup brushes when applying the colors.
